I’ve just spent three days in the bush on a bike shooting 1Zambia MTB for the second year in a row. The race is 250km long, starting in Lusaka and finishing in Lower Zambezi. Check out all the photos here.
Recently, me and Swedish journalist and author Karin Alfredsson did a story for the Swedish magazine Forskning & Framsteg (Science & Progress). The story is about the chief system and tradition in southern Africa. The photos are from Zambia’s eastern province where we met Chief Ndake and from Cazizi village in northern where we met Regulo (chief) Fabiao Omar Lucavanga.
I was recently assigned to document a communication project in Malawi run by the Swedish development cooperation organisation We Effect. The project entails a Swedish woman living and working side by side with a female farmer in Malawi for three weeks. We Effect posted a job advert in Swedish media were they looked for applicants for one of the worlds toughest jobs; being a female farmer in a poor country. About 600 people applied for the position.
