Sony A7RII

The Sony A7RII

Last year I switched from Nikon to Sony, a move I’ve never regretted. I shoot with a Sony A7R and I love the camera. With this being 1st generation technology from Sony, the A7R obviously has some flaws. For example, the AF is quite slow, especially in low light, the shutter is noisy and the ergonomics of the camera isn’t that great. The announcement of the Sony A7RII has been long awaited, yesterday it happened. According to the specs, Sony has fixed all the problems with the A7R, and added A LOT more to it. Here are the specs:

  • 42MP Full-Frame Exmor R BSI CMOS Sensor
  • BIONZ X Image Processor
  • 5-Axis SteadyShot INSIDE Stabilization
  • 399 Phase-Detect AF Points & 5 fps Burst
  • Internal 4K XAVC S Video & S-Log2 Gamma
  • Weather-Resistant Magnesium Alloy Body
  • Built-In Wi-Fi Connectivity with NFC
  • Silent shutter mode

I can’t wait to try this beast!
