Cazizi village, northern Mozambique. The small village is situated an hours drive from Lichinga, the capital city of Niassa Province. The surrondings are stunning. A few years ago, the village was forced to move when a forest company bought the land that the village was situated on. The people were given a new piece of land but this was not as fertile as the previous. Local NGO’s helped the villagers to demand there rights and they were given food and seed from the forest company. Since then, things has been improving. However, most villagers still thinks that life was easier before.
